I ordered some wooden frames with a terrible hanging system so I had to attach some crocodile style hooks to them. On a whim I chose this one because the length could be used for both small, medium and large frames. I'm glad I did! They arrived quickly and were very easy to put on. They also hung beautifully; and stayed at the same level. Tip for you if you've never had to attack hooks on a frame: there are no holes for beginners, so you'll have to make them yourself. I recommend that once you have found the spot where you want to attach the hook, you mark the holes with a pen. Then remove the hook, take a narrow nail and drive it into the wood at least 1/2 the length of the small screws you will be using (which come with these hooks). Once you've hammered them in, use the claws of the hammer to gently REMOVE the nail. Repeat for the second marked spot. Once you've made 2 very shallow holes you can put a hook over the holes and easily screw screws into the pre-made holes for beginners. Just make sure the nail you use isn't as wide as the screws you're going to use or the screws won't go in as well. Hope that helps.
