I do longer solo day trips and I carry a raincoat, some water, lunch, tire repair supplies, a spare tube, bike tools, etc. I don't want to get stuck anywhere if I can escape it anywhere in the Rocky Mountains. It worked well for me even on hot days. I also use it for fitness hikes in the mountains. Fits me well, I'm 6ft 1in, 195 lbs. Fits snugly to the back when riding or hiking. Fairly aerodynamic, doesn't bother me much in crosswinds. The strap can be tightened/secured to keep them from bursting while riding. Good organization of pockets to store phone, keys, tools, GPS etc. Enough space for what I carry, don't take too much .Like and more magnetic Drinking tube holder, easy to use on the bike.
