My son has tubes in his ears so I wanted to get him headphones that wouldn't put too much pressure on his ears. These headphones are great, they do fold up. We store them in the fuzzy bag they came in. It has a cord that comes with it to plug in, so even if it does die, we can plug it into his kindle if we don't have time to charge it. Charging is a mini usb port, it charges within an hour or so. You can turn the headphones off and on when using them wirelessly. I highly recommend these for destructive kids, they've survived longer than any headphones I've purchased so far.
