On the catalog pictures these polishes look more like jelly than they really are. While these are good colors, my biggest complaint is that the formulas for all six colors are incompatible. Some are much thicker than others and one or two don't mix properly. That's why I first tried them on a piece of paper instead of reference points and they still draw well, but I'm honestly not sure how I feel about it. I liked some polishes better than expected, others not so much. I definitely don't like the plastic bottles they come in and I just feel these polishes don't live up to the $20 price tag, although I can't fully explain why.
