Review on ✂️ Slip-N-Snip Needlepoint Folding Safety Scissors - Original Cissors by Carla Anderson

I ordered these little scissors as a gift. I got a pair as a gift a few years ago. They are small, sharp and very nice to always have on hand. Unfortunately the pair I received was very stiff. I could hardly open them when I first got them. I went to the Slip N Snip website and they suggest putting some oil on the hinge pin. I did this and it helped open the scissors. The bigger problem was that even after using the oil, I couldn't get the scissors to snap to the closed position. The only way to fold them was to press a small piece of wood onto the pivot to force the blades to retract. After that, considerable effort was required to connect the two handles together. If I didn't already have a pair that work great I'd be surprised at how they're selling at all. I think there is a serious lack of quality control. I see that some other reviewers have complained about the same issue. I read these reviews and took a chance, unfortunately I caught a "loser". Luckily, Revain makes it easy to return items, and they do. I give the scissors 5 stars and the quality control 1 star. I'll search the area and see if I can find these scissors. When I find them, I try them on in the store to make sure the pair I buy work properly.
