The product did not work properly (or not work at all) when connected to LENOVO YOGA 920 (USB-C) and APPLE THUNDERBOLT DISPLAY (MC914LL/B). In theory it should have worked. The INTEL Thunderbolt software recognized the display and asked for permission, etc. However, when it came time to actually connect, which was useful, the Thunderbolt software showed it as Not Connected and then, you guessed it, it didn't work . After much research online I've come to the conclusion that there must be some chipset marriage between devices. What is that? I do not know. Others have reported success with this adapter and other computer setups. My strategy for anyone interested is to find an old MacBook or MacMini that will work with this monitor. And honestly, with its UHD display, 512 hard drives and 16 GB RAM, the LENOVO YOGA 920 is a portable powerhouse that doesn't need an external monitor.
