I bought this ring as a "mode ring" to wear on my index finger. I only wear gold and buying an engagement ring to fit that finger was exactly what I wanted. Considering it would be for fashion only (and I already have and wear other real/unplated gold on my hands), I wasn't particularly keen on spending a lot of money on something that could be changed frequently. Then I stumbled across it. and estimated the price that it was worth it. It was worth it. I wear a ring (like a toe ring) every day 24 hours a day because my original toe ring has grown too big. This ring has withstood water, pressure, body oils, sand and seawater. Although it's a little more yellow than my 14k toe ring on the other foot, you have to hold those feet side by side and study them both to see the difference. Based on that, I bought rings for my hand (black and gold) and wear them alternately on one finger. Looks great, feels good, doesn't fade or scratch even after my hands have been smeared with harsh chemicals at work on a daily basis. I love these rings so much and they are so reasonably priced that I actually ordered the wrong size and style ring. but since I liked it anyway, I kept it instead of returning it. These are simple rings but have turned out to be a lovely addition to my jewelry collection. From these rings that sparkle with joy.
