Does not fit Otterbox cases
My iPhone X with a flat case fits easily. My wife's iPhone 11 with the Otterbox Defender case doesn't fit at all. If you have an iPhone 11 or 12 max it probably won't fit unless you remove the case. As for water resistance, I haven't submerged my phone in water, but it does a great job of protecting it from accidental splashes. Pool from destroying your phone. The plastic is clearly visible, enables Face ID to function and is touch-sensitive.
