Background: I had a Motorola camera baby monitor for our first child. It was OK, but it appeared we were at the limit for reception - I had to get the receiver and the antenna is JUST the right position otherwise the loud alarm would go off that it lost connection. This is the biggest waste of money. Set up takes forever, it is not compatible with dual band signal routers, goes offline quite often, extreme lag with any function as well as picture/audio. Very disappointed Motorola put out such a useless expensive product. Thought about getting the entire smart nursery bundle but based on the cameras performance I would hate to take a chance and waste money on anything else. Should've read the prior reviews from other users. BUYER BEWARE!

Very happy with this camera. Added it to the Hubble App with our other Motorola camera in the nursery and have been very happy

The connection with my phone is difficult to set up, not what I expected. Have not been able to download the latest firmware update. Disappointed

Can be a little bit grainy, laggy/delayed, otherwise easy to use and convenient to avoid needing monitor. Neither issue has had a strong negative impact on use.

I ordered this camera without the smart tablet on with the idea of using the Hubble app. Connecting it was easy with no issues. The picture quality was great but it also did rely on my internet connection which is pretty fast but the phone and the app still need connect which took under 10 seconds every time I opened the app. Granted that wouldn’t be too long for an infant but I made this purchased for the portable camera so I can continue to keep and eye on my little one while in the backyard…

So, the rating for this is subject to change.Pros: The picture on the app is great. Night vision comes through very clearly. Setup is fairly easy.Cons: The web viewing is terrible. Choppy video is anything but desirable.Loses connection every 5 minutes, and you have to click back and reconnect. I've contacted support about this (I'll get to that in a moment) and I gave them step by step issue and detail on what was happening and what I did (which was step by step what they made me so anyway)…

We set this up in our nursery, it works wonderfully! My husband uses the motion detection and night vision to check in when it’s time to change our daughter while he’s at work. It’s awesome that he gets to say hi to her and see her when he can’t be home.
