Works well. Comes with an expanding tip and an attachment sleeve (for larger holes). Doesn't seem to bite to get it at first, but once you crank it all the way up and really stretch the metal, it works great. To reduce friction when expanding, I took the extra step of applying a bit of lube to the inner nut and bushing where the cone is located and this made for a smoother full tightening. Holds the Ram X mount like a champ. Sure, the other review that complained about this not working either didn't tighten it up fully or used the wrong part for the app. I don't remember if I had to improvise something to keep the ball from spinning when tightening the screw. Depending on your application, you may need to do this. Seems solid once installed correctly. Drive safe friends!
