Although the iPad fits snugly in the case, the cutouts for the microphone input do not line up properly. The notch is slightly offset to the side. As a result, the hull had to be returned. The square connector on my Rode Video Microphone did not fit into the slot. This is not a secure connection and the microphone will therefore not work. I want to warn everyone to make sure everything is lined up correctly. It is possible that the microphone will work with a straight plug, but the Rode TRS-TRRS SC4 adapter has a right angle connector and will not fit securely into the microphone input hole.
