I've tried a TON of different products that help kill and prevent fleas. Cheap collars don't work. This Seresto collar does the job perfectly. We bathed cats before use. Collars say it can take up to a few days to kill existing fleas and up to 24 hours to kill new fleas. I noticed that the fleas were decreasing. This is the first time compared to many other products I have used. I've recently noticed that a few more fleas have appeared but they are very slow and lethargic so the collar makes them easier to catch. I still have to re-wash all my blankets, bedding and other cat favorites, but I think we're finally ahead. They don't feel greasy on cats' fur and skin, and what's even better, they don't have a strong odor compared to the cheaper ones I've found online. I haven't seen any issues with skin reactions or burns on her skin as some have reported. This will likely vary from case to case, but these collars appear to be more hypoallergenic than most.
