My cat left it on and I didn't see a tick on it. He is an open and extremely active cat. I think they are expensive but for the area I live in they are very necessary.

From the first hour our cat had itching all over her body that she couldn't control. Also, it gave off a horrible odor that lingered in every room she entered. We had to take it from her and throw it away. I also had to mist every room in our house to try and get rid of the smell.

I don't just like flea collars because they work (better than pills or topicals) and I don't have to remember to reapply them every month. I usually change them between 6 and 8 months, they tend to loosen with age. But overall I am very happy with the collars. I also use them on my dogs

Firstly I'm writing this review 1 week after treating my two cats which is why I'm also giving it 4 stars. So far it has worked great for my older cat. The fleas stay away and anyone who can bite him dies within an hour of it. My other younger cat does the same, except like the other reviewers she has a reaction to this that causes her hair to fall out around the collar and scratch it almost 24/7. I've tried a TON of different products that help kill and prevent fleas. Cheap collars don't work. This Seresto collar does the job perfectly. We bathed cats before use. Collars say it can take up to a few days to kill existing fleas and up to 24 hours to kill new fleas. I noticed that the fleas were decreasing.
