Flea problem finally solved for my cats

I grew up with the liquid flea medicine you put between your cat's shoulder blades. I'm admittedly bad at following a schedule, but when you start getting infected you're REALLY good at following a schedule. It's a bloody nightmare to deal with and very expensive. And for some reason the fleas just wouldn't go away no matter what liquid product I used, no matter how much I vacuumed, bathed, and used any other remedies I found online. It was an exam. In desperation, I tried this flea collar. As if by magic, fleas on cats were no longer a problem after a week (it took a few more weeks to cover the floor with diatomaceous earth to get rid of the rest of the fleas in the house, but that's not covered here). Finally my two fur balls can sleep peacefully! That was about 3 or 4 years ago. There was one case where I removed the collars at a full 8 months instead of 6 months and I started seeing some fleas on the cats, but I got some new collars and the problem went away very quickly before an infestation occurred. There may be times when the collars typically last 8 months but at this point I would say the protection wears off so you can replace them in less time. I highly recommend this product, but I also caution that your mileage may vary. I know at least one friend whose cat had a sore throat and got a rash from that collar. I believe this is just not the right product for some cats. As for actually solving the flea infestation problem, I would definitely say it works great! My two cats had no problems and this was a real find for me!
