Expected damage. I mean, these are old, vintage machines and it would be unrealistic to get a brand new, pristine one, especially at this price point. Well, after all that has been said, when they say that these things can have superficial damage, they are not lying. Mine came with a bent frame as shown in pic 3. Overall, despite the damage, it still works, at least for now. Yes, and most importantly, the screen and keyboard look great. I'm currently installing Big Sur on it and will let you know if I run into any problems. EDIT: After a little over a week of use, I noticed that the screen has a tiny crack down the middle. Now a small tear isn't a big deal, but it does compound the problem of feeling a little ripped off. This device also gets unbearably hot at times. In general I am very dissatisfied.
