About the 500GB version. Bought for storing photos and videos (as a shared storage for all devices). Excellent write and read speed. On my 8-year-old laptop on the USB3.0 bus, it gives out a speed of about 300MB / s (from SSD to SSD), it did not overclock above 350. When copying tens of gigabytes, it warms up to 55 degrees, but then quickly cools down. At the same time, the body is barely warm. It also works through a regular USB-USBtypeC cable (I took the charging cable from Xiaomi Mi A1 - the speed is stable 42MB / s). This is in case you forgot the cable. A bit of tar was introduced by a smartphone that does not understand exFAT in the standard firmware (Xiaomi Mi A1). Because of it, I had to format the disk in FAT32, and this disk on a laptop in Win10 allows you to format it only in NTFS, or exFAT. The Samsung Magician utility reported that there is no need to ate the firmware for the T5. But Samsung Portable made an ate first to itself, and then to the FW SSD. It's a pity that you can't test the disk speed in Magician.
