Great safety razor if you want to learn how to shave with it. The number of open blades is safer so they are not as aggressive as some razors. You may have to go through difficult places twice or if you miss a day or two. Four months still no rust or corrosion on the handle/butterfly mechanism. I cleaned it with alcohol, it still shines like the day I received it. At first I didn't like the blades that came with it, so I started with plain stainless steel blades. Once I got the hang of it, they worked really well. Came back to try the included blades. Very sharp. Those early nicknames were user error. To update! It's still going strong. But I live in a hard water area. Calcium accumulated on the razor head over time. I soaked it in half a plastic cup filled with vinegar for a day or two and then rinsed it. Back to how it looked when I received it.
