I bought one of these for myself and another for someone who has trouble with all those little bright lights in the dark room coming from all our electronics. I used mine for the really annoying blinking lights on my router - I placed them directly to the left of a position that would completely cover each light, so I can still see a very small portion of the light when I'm standing tall. to the right of the router (so I don't have to take it off every time I call my ISP about a connection problem and the light is completely invisible from anywhere in the room). The person I gave them to used them on their entertainment device with very bright red and blue lights. This completely blocks the light even if the room is dark. These stickers don't stick well to textured surfaces, but we've only used them on smooth surfaces so far and they don't seem to be going anywhere.
