Pretty good alternatives to Hue Sync. The price for the required HDMI box and light easily tops $300. It is sad. I run 3 hue play lights with the Hue Sync app on my PC. Immersion and ambient lighting are taken to a whole new level, especially in some of the prettier games like Elite Dangerous. Watching the sun fall on your wall in red and yellow is amazing. I wanted this for my living room. It's not exactly the same, but it works. I think camera calibration and positioning play a HUGE role. I have a small shelf above the TV that limits the view of the cameras. I think it's pretty noticeable. I can't get the same colors as some of the sample screenshots, but it's a descent. when i come back I *probably* bought the same system but with LED strips. but a good entry-level item for the price. It will add a comfortable feeling to your cinema.
