Cute Necklace. I could tell from the mannequin around the neck that it was quite a long chain, but I wasn't sure how thick and/or heavy it would be. I wanted something more visible than a simple chain, but still delicate (that's how it is). The braids are about 3/8" wide so this necklace is not at all showy and is very light and comfortable to wear. The size is perfect for showing off intricate weaving details; the gold and black beads are very small and reflect the light gorgeous.I was also hoping they would be long enough to fold in half and wear as a short necklace (and that is what is beautiful and adds to the versatility)..if the braids become twisted while wearing or loosen or if one of the strands pulls a bit you can easily unfold the chain and snap it back into shape The hardware is light but well made and looks sturdy The clasp is quite large and works easily which is great for me as I often fiddle with small ones I think this necklace looks pretty festive and would look just as good with jeans and a black jumper, but also with something more dressy ht and seems very good for such a low price ($12.99 at the time of this review).
