You can buy much more expensive tools that will do the job but this one was inexpensive and worked great. NOTE, I did not rate the quality of the camera as it is NOT A CAMERA. It's just a clip to hold YOUR camera or cellphone in place. I used it to hold my phone so I can view handwritten notes on ZOOM while writing. The table clamp is pretty strong to keep your camera from rattling. also sturdy enough for an iPhone - I'm not aware of anything heavier - but don't look for any fancy adjustment mechanisms, thumbscrews or knurled nuts. It's just a spring clip that opens to accommodate the phone and then the spring's tension holds it in place. So far this has done the job. The gooseneck positioning arms are loose enough to adjust to nearly 1/8 inch (estimate) and strong enough to hold position once adjusted. The light function has "warm", "medium" and "cold". " Choice of light with a fairly good adjustment range from dim to bright at each setting. The controls are convenient and easy to use. I don't use it every day but those are my thoughts and I'll update if anything about it fails with more frequent use.
