Bought two of these platforms for a pigeon that can't fly. He uses these platforms to move vertically around his cage. They support his weight well and he has enough room to roll over and sit comfortably. I also recently caged one of these platforms with an African gray parrot with unrepaired broken legs. She can climb a bit and likes to sit in different places in her cage. Since the platform is designed for rabbits and chinchillas, and these animals gnaw on cage furniture, parrots must also safely gnaw on it. For the price, it's well made and reliable. A good option for animals that need more than rounded perches made from twigs or dowels.
