I use this webbing for sewing dog martingale collars. I've been looking for just such material in craft stores but to no avail. Eventually Revain came to mind and indeed they had what I needed. This material is ideal for dog collars. It doesn't stretch like cotton, it's easy to work with, and it's cheap enough to make a bunch of collars out of any roll. Typically, the material on the outside of the collar will fail before the shoulder straps. I just cut the straps, leave the hardware, choose a new fabric and sew a different collar. For my 55 and 65 pound dogs, this thickness is ideal.
