Review on Makita HP2050F 6Amp Hammer Drill by Stanislaw Kesicki ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Reliable product for all occasions, quality on par.

It so happened that I was presented with this drill when I myself bought the same in terms of functionality, but produced by KZMI. One difference is that there is no speed switch on the gearbox on Konakovskaya. Since I used them in approximately the same way during repairs, and Konakov’s one was even harder at work, such as stirring tile adhesive, I can say that in terms of price / quality ratio, the advantage is far from Makita’s favor. At KZMI, the cartridge (and everything else) still does not cause any complaints, and the difference in cost between them at the time of purchase is almost five (!) times.

Pros
  • Pretty "grasping" body, electronic speed control. A very versatile tool for housework.
Cons
  • The hammer drill switch is too easy to switch, it sometimes spontaneously jumps to the "hammer" when it is not needed. The cartridge unexpectedly surprised me - the keyholes became loose after six months of use - in addition to rotation, you have to pull the key towards the teeth on the cartridge, otherwise it slips. Although the drill clamps as it should.
