Review on Selfcad software by Mike Hernandez

I can design my own models in 3d, draw it out with self cad then export to other programs like autocad or Solidworks for printing/manufacturing etc. It's easy enough that anyone could learn how use this program after just one class (if you have access to an instructor). The interface is not very intuitive so learning takes more time than necessary but once learned its super fast! There are some features of CAD drawing that i wish were included such as textured surfaces which would make creating designs easier - however there should be no reason why they couldn't include those either since their products do support them. If your looking for something simple yet powerful try using this product first before spending money elsewhere. Once mastered though it will save tons of time when designing things from scratch especially if what you're building has already been created by someone else.
