I have never been so excited about a light. I've been trying to update my home, especially the kitchen, during the murky times of the pandemic and winter. This is what prompted me to "de-Tuscanize” my home. Before we installed this beautiful fixture, I had a standard five light bronze chandelier, oil finished, with matte white lampshades. i yawn Now! This! I think the attached photos speak volumes about how attractive this light is. Even better is how easily new LED bulbs can be accommodated. And provides amazing lighting. The manufacturer has put a lot of thought into how these bulbs can blind you. The frosted glass plate on the underside (photo 2) allows you to compensate for the glare of the LED lamp without reducing the light emitted. I'm so glad I bought it. And my god, I know it's a higher price. But in my opinion it looks like a $400+ device. Highly recommended! In short: 1) easy to install 2) modern and also suitable for new "transitional" decors 3) works great with new LEDs - no "shine" 4) high quality and looks much better $$$$
