Pretty decent knives for the money. The blades are thin and I notice that they flex a little when I'm cutting something particularly tough. But overall good knives and I love the cheese knife. It replaced my expensive house party cheese knives which I bought and which were my favorites. The chef's knife is very small. A hooked paring knife is great for piercing the skin of what you're cutting so it doesn't soften before the knife cuts. Also great for stamping things. The handles are small so fit my small hands well, but probably not strong enough for someone with large hands.
