I thought it would be an interesting product perfect for my friend-who-has-everything. So I bought it for her for her birthday. This flashlight consists of two halves of a plastic body with batteries and a light bulb with a motion sensor in between. The two halves are twisted together. The light comes on when there is noticeable movement. This comes in very handy when you're looking for something in a pitch-black purse or even a dark desk drawer. From an aesthetic point of view, the design is just incredibly cool - smooth edges and a white translucent body make it a wonderful gift. Even the packaging can be a gift box in itself. All in all it's a really clever concept and I liked the product, but for two things (and hence only 4 stars): 1) The two halves come apart pretty easily in a purse with all the squeezing and such. And 2) The price is VERY high. I overpaid for this item, about $30+. I think $10 would be better, but maybe this company isn't mass producing them yet.
