The temples on my glasses are thin metal, the ear hook is also narrow so I was afraid these clips wouldn't hold. I am happy to say that they have done very well so far. I've only had them for about ten days, but I'm happy with their work. The fit is good and the clip stays in place, keeping my glasses right where I need them. I have progressive lenses so a little slip can cause everything to blur. I use these mounts when working in my garage carpentry shop where it gets pretty hot in the summer and my glasses literally slide off my face. No longer. Stretchability is minimal, but that's not a problem. Longevity is still an issue, but at this price I'm not worried. I would buy again and recommend.
