Broke after 5 uses Best folding umbrella

I've had mine for a long time but it doesn't rain often here. So I really only used it 5 times before it broke like the others. I couldn't even test it in "gusty winds", just opening and closing it multiple times killed it. The metal parts seem quite flimsy with little metal holding them together. The stress of simply opening them will break them easily. He was also a bit short.

Buyer Warning! Not the last umbrella you buy.

Small storms in the area of the bay. wind and rain. It didn't bother me because I had this umbrella. I went outside and it was raining. I opened my umbrella and saw this. The umbrella can't work properly now. It flaps like crazy, not as windproof as it was, and some rain falls through the outer canopy and onto my head. The umbrella was great until it broke. I was so hoping that this would literally be the last umbrella I buy. I just bought another one before this event and now want to return it

Don't waste your money

I did a lot of research before purchasing this umbrella and found it to be the right one. I bought this and the larger version and both broke. at 68": one of the poles holding the screen is completely broken. at 43": several poles have punctured the fabric and are beginning to break. I contacted the company and they said I had to pay $10 for each umbrella to be returned. Also, I have to pay the cost of delivery to the property. I will not invest any more money (maybe $30-$40 extra) in these…

Don't fall for the demands of durability.

Used this umbrella 4 times in 4 months until one of the ribs came off the fabric. I called Revain ("For Sale Revain") and was told the return window was closed. They couldn't give me any warranty information, so I was able to file a claim using my credit card's extended warranty (this DOUBLES the manufacturer's warranty, but NOBODY knows how long the warranty is). You can't even find it on the GustBuster website. HOW DIRTY! I can't make a claim with VISA without warranty information. What a…

BUYER ALERT - Poor design and customer service

I bought this product in early 2015 and have used it maybe 5 times in total. Also remember that I do not use an umbrella in the Revane rainforest, except to and from work on the days absolutely necessary. Today I noticed on an umbrella that my "INROTABLE, UNREFLECTABLE, LEAKLESS" GustBuster has a broken hinge and the fully extended pole shaft is only supported by fabric. This means that the fabric can tear. See attached photo for more details. I called GustBuster and was told I would need to…

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Pros: - Works like a big umbrella (stable in strong winds) but terrible with opening and Conclude. Cons: - The parts that operate the opening and closing mechanism are cheap and flimsy. This is my second purchase and unfortunately I've only used one about 40 times and the other about 30 times. The locking mechanism broke and it's a nightmare to close because you can only grab the plastic slider that connects to all the tie rods. roll up the umbrella, which is just inconvenient. Since you have…
