Review on GustBuster Metro 43 Inch: The Ultimate Automatic Umbrella for All Weather Conditions by Jess Gunderson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Doesn't close automatically (when it closes, it takes about 30-50 openings)

Pros: - Works like a big umbrella (stable in strong winds) but terrible with opening and Conclude. Cons: - The parts that operate the opening and closing mechanism are cheap and flimsy. This is my second purchase and unfortunately I've only used one about 40 times and the other about 30 times. The locking mechanism broke and it's a nightmare to close because you can only grab the plastic slider that connects to all the tie rods. roll up the umbrella, which is just inconvenient. Since you have to do this by hand, you'll be next to the umbrella, which will "shake" as it goes back over the first pin, causing water to splash at you, and then it seems to snap (the second pin), right in front of it. should, but close enough that you think it's fully enclosed. *If you stop here, you won't be able to put it back in the included case. ** The only way to fully fold it is to place your hand on the top of the umbrella and push it down. If you try to just pull it down to the actual locking point like you pulled it to the second pin, you'll probably have to dissect your fingers, as an adult hand can't pull the sliding plastic part into the handle. You can risk pinching your fingers on the tension rods and slip your fingers over the plastic guide and push down if you wish, but do so at your own risk. The grip is just unacceptable. I think they ran out of development money and it looks like someone just took a cheap piece of plastic and superglued it to the umbrella stem. It's also slippery and the furthest thing from an ergonomic shape that can be handheld.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
