I've been in this business for over 30 years and like many developments over the last few years the Glidecam has changed everything. If you have a planer camera it helps a little and helps my cameramen shoot longer and their arm doesn't get tired. This is not a complete solution, you still need good arm strength. But the flexibility and amazing shots we get, along with the speed of setup is incredible. It's a little pricey for what it is, but when you look at the overall cost of the package, it's pennies compared to Steadicam packages that cost over $25,000 a few years ago.
