******Updated Rating****************The top has already broken off. Very disappointing Overall I am very happy with this scratching post. I ordered a larger size and it's perfect to put right by the window so my cat can enjoy the sun and the nice breeze. I was pleasantly surprised at how tall he is when he reaches the window, which is what I was hoping for. The top perch is a little smaller than I would like but it's great for my cat but I can see how narrow it will be. Room for a big cat. Sometimes my cat stretches out her leg to make more room for herself. Cats love small spaces anyway and are quite comfortable in them, so that's not a big issue, especially considering the price. It was easy to put together and everything is very solid except maybe at the top. I can flip it easily, but it's still pretty strong. Maybe I just didn't tighten it tight enough. A small detail, but nothing major. My cat mostly uses the top because the two straps are a bit small, but that's enough for him. The price is great and for something so affordable I can't complain. Something like that in a pet store would be 100+. It has a really weird smell and my cat is very sensitive to smells, he hates when I spray air freshener and doesn't seem to mind. My cat now spends about 90% of her time on this scratching post and I'm so glad I bought it. Shipping was fast and I am very happy with this purchase!
