First rating 2014: Clean skin is the basis of good skin care. If you're strict about allowing your skin to "breathe"; At the end of the day, remove all makeup/skin products etc, these pads are a must. I've used it as a cleansing pad and also as a toner. However, since I mostly use one of these cleaning brushes, I use the pads to thoroughly apply the refresher/toner. I love the soft feel of these pads on my face. They last, are soft and large enough to apply to the face and neck. A moment of pleasure!Update 05/21/2019: The quality of the cotton has decreased - during the last purchases I noticed that the pads have become rougher. I really dislike the development of this product and am very disappointed. It looks like the manufacturer is using cheaper cotton, or skimping on processing, or both. What a pity. Since I use these cotton pads for facial care, I will unfortunately be looking for a replacement.
