I do RTFM. The front of the DX300S manual says "PLEASE READ THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE USING". The instructions are in English only. The instruction manual is included in the pictures. Step 2. "Before use, make sure the power supply is sufficient." no instructions on how to accomplish this task and I don't see a way to accomplish it. Step 3. "Please check if the filter appears normal." without describing what "normal" or "abnormal" looks like. Should the fly be embedded in the glass or not? Mine doesn't have it. It is in order? Step 4. "Check whether the protective films are damaged, whether the solar cells are not damaged, and whether they are clogged with dust, especially check whether the arc sensor is dirty." There is a product diagram on page 4 that shows , where the solar cell is located, but doesn't define the "arc sensor" or the type of "contamination" I should be looking for. Step 6. "Please check the tightness before each use. ." mmm. "Easy Leakproof" I've never tested my lamp and I don't know how to do it. There are no instructions in the manual. Step 7. "Choose the correct shade number... the shadow number can be adjusted manually from 9 to 13...turning the adjustment knob sets the correct shadow number." There is no indication if shadow 9 is more or less shadowed Use the "DELAY" knob" fast" or "slow" except there is no delay button on the helmet. Instructions include how to adjust the "Sensitivity" knob, except there is no "Sensitivity" knob either. The Delay, Sensitivity, and Battery Test features appear to be available on other helmets according to the specs, but the instructions require me to read those features before I know that my helmet doesn't have the box scratched the inner lens by a not very protective film . I think I can look through but they really should have done something to prevent the headband from scratching the lens during shipping. I haven't actually used the helmet yet, but I decided to start looking through the manual. he had a moment to fret about it. I'll update when I'm done with that.
