Plain Wooden Yo Yo Made USA Review

This yo-yo looks good, just like the photo. However, the quality is bad. When I first tried to roll it up, it fell apart. I tried to fix it but the problem kept coming back. i will return it

Scrap, arrived broken, need to buy wood glue so my son who was delighted with the package could play with this yo-yo, he was very disappointed. I bought this item based on the reviews. Wouldn't buy again. The photos speak for themselves. Buyer Warning.

The two halves of the yo-yo fall apart almost every time you use it. I ended up gluing a pin to hold the halves, but that would make it more inconvenient to change strings when needed. Really disappointing because otherwise it's solid and attractive.

We bought several of these yo-yos for our grandchildren and I wanted a wooden one because the plastic breaks too easily. My grandkids are very happy with their yoyos and this makes the perfect gift for adults and kids who are just starting to learn tricks. I am very happy with our purchases.

This wooden yo-yo is one of the few US made toys I could find in this category. The design is simple (almost looks like you could do it in a home garage) and works well (not the best and smoothest, but it works). Bought a pair as they don't contain any harmful chemicals - my kids have developed allergies (literally) to Chinese made toys so I try to discourage them from having too much fun as health is more important.

I am 23 years old and have never played with a yo-yo. All I did was spend my money and buy things I wanted to try as a kid. for example a skateboard, chess, a sword and now a yo-yo. Anyway it took time to learn how to use the yo-yo, about a week. Now I know how to use it and I'm very pleased with how smoothly it works. I personally prefer wood because I love nature and play with it. I recommend this yoyo for all ages. Of course, time flies quickly at work too.

Ideal for loop tricks. Very fun, constantly responsive, feels good in the hand and has a decent sleep time for a solid wood yo-yo. I had a Newton wood yo-yo that came off and eventually the axle broke after about three weeks of heavy use. This yoyo is better in every way. I'll probably buy more of these to give to my kids so they stop borrowing from me. When the original string broke, I replaced it with a quality cotton string. Plays like a dream. Love it.

I bought this simply because it was made of wood and cheap. I didn't expect it to work very well and damn I was wrong! This is a very beautiful and versatile yo-yo. It's heavier than Duncan Imperial, Bumblebee, or even Yomega Raider. It's wood! Wooden caps, wooden axe, WOOD! It doesn't fall apart. Let me start by saying that my daughter is 3.5 years old. old and all she wanted for Christmas was a yo-yo. I've searched everywhere for a NON-plastic yo-yo that is affordable and without sacrificing our desire to buy made in the USA. This fits the bill.
