Luckily all lit up, very good for the sensor. They're hard and prickly, not soft like a stress ball, and the points aren't painful or anything. They smell a lot so I washed them off, my 1 year old had fun with them for at least 30 minutes.

Used to fill my son's 3rd birthday gift bag. my kids love it My 3 year old son can use it as intended and can improvise. My 16 month old loves to copy and play with it. Super sweet. Still working after 2 months and hasn't broken or deteriorated yet.

I got it as a birthday present and the kids love it. until they break. We've already burned a few. For the price, they should definitely last longer than a day. Will most likely return if I find a replacement in time for the party. They should cost around $10 a pack.

These little balls with spikes are perfect! I tried buying cheaper party favors that looked fun but they were all defective and cheap quality. Finally I decided to spend a little more on them. They are cool! Good quality, good size, no bad smell and most importantly baby approved! The kids loved them!

Almost very good. The concept is great. All the kids loved playing with it. Ease of use, design and lighting are well received. The problem was the quality. Some of them didn't shine as well as others. In addition, some of the grip holes broke very quickly. If they were consistently done well, they would be the best!

The kids loved them long after the party (my 3 year old pup and her pup have been using it every day for 3 weeks now - wouldn't recommend for dogs). True, the string comes out sometimes, but for the money it's great! They came in a bag and were easy to pull out and put in tote bags, or I made them as win-win toys for kids. They were used the most (at least at a party) along with punchballs and sticky hands. Hope that helps ;)

Teacher: You can literally shell out for this great little novelty. They're a good size, VERY bright, durable and kids just can't put them down! I gave them away as part of a party bag, along with Play-Doh, styrofoam airplanes, perforated balls, bubbles, a personalized card and just some candy. The kids loved their party bags and I'm sure the parents are glad the teacher didn't give their kids a bag full of candy!

I bought these because my 4 year old was disappointed with the yo-yo. They make good substitutes because they hop up and down and love the light. The big downside to this is that the string sometimes breaks, but I'm not sure if it's just because my kid is playing rough. One twin broke three and the other broke none. However, if you have a kid who tends to break things, you might want to skip this one.

Got this as a gift for my son's 7th birthday. He and his friend chose it and were very excited about it. However, they were disappointed with how quickly they broke; In less than 15 minutes the tail came off and it wasn't a glowing yo-yo anymore, just a glowing spiked ball. Hence he gave 2 stars initially. Then we found that you can reset and fix the tail. "Hooray," he said, "let's change it to 5 stars!" And here it is. They can be fixed with the tip of a ballpoint pen.
