They serve for a long time, but sometimes they break
I bought these because my 4 year old was disappointed with the yo-yo. They make good substitutes because they hop up and down and love the light. The big downside to this is that the string sometimes breaks, but I'm not sure if it's just because my kid is playing rough. One twin broke three and the other broke none. However, if you have a kid who tends to break things, you might want to skip this one.
