Review on 🐠 10 Gallon Marina LED Aquarium Kit by Nicole Cook

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like this tank, easy filter maintenance. More importantly, are the fish happy?

Good aquarium, quiet, easy to change filters. I used bottom filters for years when I had 5 tanks and now not many tanks have them although side filters are good. Better than I thought I set it up for maybe a week. You will need a heater, decor and also an air pump if you want to have a bubbler in it. I installed it and put 4 smaller platies in it a few days later. I didn't use biofluid in it. Too unclear in the instructions and what I could find, he said to do it again on the 2nd day, then on the 3rd day. I've had a tank with a few fish if you do a partial water change about once a week. About a quarter water each time for about 4-6 weeks. Early when the water deviates a little. I really like the hood, it fits the hood very well and has an opening for detaching and feeding. All I needed extra was a heater and an air pump, but I already had them in stock. Filters simply slide out and new ones are simply inserted. The light is bright, I don't have any live plants so that's enough. I don't really like tanks that have a lot of holes for evaporation and mist from air pumps and bubbles. I've had way too many roasts for the 2.5 gallon tanks I have. I decided to add 1 more to accommodate supplements. I'm worried there will be too many of these and I don't know what to do with them. I have had other more demanding fish but they are very hardy but they reproduce too quickly. I've only had 12 fry in two small tanks in the last month and a half. Cute but must have ears, I swear they look like rabbits. I'll see how well the tank holds up over time. Except for lack of space, I can't foresee any problems in the coming months. I would recommend this tank but if you buy platies they will always be prego. Pooh!
