I knew upfront my installation would be difficult since it's not going under a desk, but a TV stand. The spacing was only 6" tall and 21" wide. That is why I selected this keyboard tray because of it's narrower width.What I did not realize was the brackets would push the tray size requirements to 22.75". That blew my plan out the door as the underside of my TV stand had wood braces that would interfere with these brackets. I lucked out though when I discovered I could remove the entire top of the TV stand. I mounted the keyboard tray inverted, instead of it hanging under the table top, it's screwed to the bottom shelf. It's very sturdy.The one thing I don't like is you cannot remove the tray from the rails. Usually these slider rails have a dimple you press in to release the slider, these don't have it.Overall this worked out great but it was several hours to work out the installation.
