A bulb was about to fail. I put it in a lamp to try it out, when I got it I could toggle between colors and settings and then it just stopped. It got stuck on green and didn't change or respond to the remote, even turning it off. I thought it might be a problem with the remote or the lamp, so I tried a different lamp and remote. The same problem - green light is on. I was willing to ignore this blown bulb as in the first place I needed 3 bulbs for a 3 bulb bulb and still had 3 working bulbs. At first they worked very well. The main problem with 3 of these bulbs in one bulb is that you run the risk of hitting each bulb if you don't point the remote in the right direction and their color/settings get out of sync. Once they are out of sync, it is VERY difficult to get them back in sync. I chose a color to avoid this problem and was very happy with my new bright lighting for about 3 weeks. Then I wanted to change the color. I tried, but the colors were terribly out of sync, and then a lightbulb got stuck on purple. The same problem as with the first defective bulb. This lightbulb no longer responds to any remote control. All are basically useless to me now as not only can't I change the color but also can't turn them off with the remote as only 2 go off and 1 stays on all the time. So you get what you pay for, don't expect them all to work or last very long, which isn't great for multi-bulb lights.
