Ideal for beginners; Instructions could be better

Overall, this product is great for a beginner looking to start DIY leg waxing. The pockets are a lot smaller than I expected (should have checked the reviews); However, they are about the size of a bag of chips and are great for wax sampling first. I used to go to wax salons (they use strips), shave and use cheap pharmacy wax strips to try and wax. As someone with eczema, all of these options either irritated my skin or were wasteful, so I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who doesn't mind waxing and wants a safe and affordable option. The only issue I really had with the product was cleaning and there were no clear instructions on how to do it. It wasn't a big problem as I was just able to find a video on how to remove leftovers from the pan. The referral ratings are pretty accurate. If you are considering purchasing this product, here are some application/cleaning tips.1. Disinfect the area and use baby powder (cornstarch works too). It just makes it less painful and easier to use2. Follow the heating instructions (max heat to melt, then about 160Β° to heat)3. To clean it, turn the heat setting up to high and use a popsicle stick and paper towel to try to get most of the remaining wax off. After that, take some oil (I only had canola, but you can use olive oil or whatever) and run it over the pan to coat it and let it heat for a minute. Then repeat the cleaning with paper towel and popsicle. I kept taking the pot in and out of the heating pad to heat the wax without burning myself or losing control of the pot (it's hard to keep it in the heating pad). I also gave up on the popsicle halfway through, just CAREFULLY using a paper towel with some oil to get rid of the wax residue left over while it was sitting on the pot. I also let it sit with some dish soap. and yes! The process is a lot, but I promise it helped a lot!
