Definitely "dress shoes". After a day of moderate walking, my legs felt quite sore. If you do very little activity, that's probably fine. You look good. Think form over function. The skin is not very elastic and feels stiff. I walk quite a bit during my workday and my feet felt pretty bad in these shoes. I ended up returning because I couldn't get a 12 1/2 and 13 was too big and the leather soles of the shoe didn't provide adequate arch support. I have another brand of rubber soled slippers and my feet are much happier.
