I bought this to connect a 21" Dell VGA monitor to my MacBook Pro (2013) to extend the screen so I can open more windows to switch between spreadsheets, databases and programs navigate. Arrived quickly and in nice easy to open packaging. The adapter itself is well made, just plug it in and get started right away. A standard VGA connector slides in from the rear, screws down, and stays completely in place. The Lightning connector features a plastic plug to keep the connectors clean during transport. After that, you can see a very nicely made gold zipper stopper that slides in easily without loosening or falling out. After connecting everything worked immediately and I could get started. I would recommend this article if you're looking for an inexpensive way to connect a VGA device to a Lightning connector without the fear of having to change adapters frequently. Easy to use, no instructions required. Mostly plug and play. Just remember that you have to go in and change the settings on your Lightning device. At this point definitely two thumbs up! I will buy again in the future if I need another which may be for a different monitor.
