I needed a much smaller tripod but most are flimsy and cheap. So far this one looks pretty stable and well built. The ball head is easy to use and snaps in well. This is a great platform with an included phone holder, designed primarily for phone photography. The phone holder is the best I've ever used, it opens wide enough for large phones like the Google Pixel 2 XL and holds it very securely. It fits on a DSLR but I wouldn't use it with a heavy lens. It worked very well with my Canon 80D and my 50mm lens. It can be adjusted in many positions to accommodate a variety of uneven floors or surfaces, e.g. B. much larger and more expensive tripods, something like my Manfrotto tripod. My backpack is in the bottle holder on the side. I can't wait to use it while hiking. Overall I'm happy with this nice little tripod, looks like it will work well for what I want to do with it.
