You can spend less than $10 and get a mini gun that performs better than this. First the temperature is off. It took almost 20 minutes to heat up to a low temperature, hot enough to squeeze out the melted glue. If you heat it to a high temperature, it will burn the tip, turn brown and smoke. Second, I'm not sure if the stand is the problem or just the length of the tip, but you can't just insert the tip. /among/between. I glued artificial flowers to the wreath and the gun didn't work. It was awkward, to say the least. Third, the glue attached to this gun is very malleable. The usual circular motion after applying the glue to detach the glue thread does not work with this gun. It was dirty and uncomfortable no matter the size of the project. I give it 2 stars for heating and for being able to finish my projects. I'll upload pictures soon.
