After reading the negative reviews, I didn't dare to order a controller either. However, after using the controllers, I wonder why people leave such negative reviews. I think it has to do with the reviewer's expectations. You want the controller to have nightclub lighting effects. Come on...it's a Christmas light bulb controller, not a holiday lights controller. If you want a nightclub like lights then I recommend ordering a DMX controller... and it costs over $100. When using a Christmas tree controller, you definitely need something that isn't too fast and dizzying. For the street, I want something that doesn't look like the ambulance parked in my yard - again, this is my personal choice. I think this controller has some decent options that are good enough to create a traditional Christmas spirit but enough to keep your neighbors from waking up. I've been using them for a few weeks now and they work well. After reading some reviews I checked if they get hot but didn't feel any heat after using them for a whole night. If something goes wrong, I can always return it to Revane. Some reviewers noted that the seller also offers good customer service.
