No pain, lots of benefits

When I first heard about nose wax I thought what sadistic genius thought of this torture? Pulling out these little bugs, one at a time, brought tears to my eyes and rapid fits of sneezing with each puff. Of course, it wouldn't be difficult to pull out 40 or more tunneling whiskers at once. Yeah right! Upon opening the rather humble box I found everything I needed to get the job done including 20 applicators, 8 mustache tips and a packet of wax balls which I now know should last at least years of waxing if not more. The instructions were easy to follow the first time and got me to the questionable last step in just a few minutes. So far, so good. After waiting the recommended 2 minutes, a slight tug on the applicator showed that it was firmly attached to my skull. It felt like the wax was glued to my skin like a nose plug with super glue. Fear of the anticipated follicular bolt piercing my brain quickly turned into panicked visions of nasal meat tearing off my face and stuck to tiny plastic capsules forever. After a few minutes of deep, calming breaths, I decided to slam my tooth-stretched door and hope for the best. With a sharp jerk, I freed the spherical blocker from its hairy cavity to reveal a fluffy forest of follicles embedded in opaque amber like so many gnats. To my surprise, the pain was really minimal, no sneezing or tears. The slight pain turned into a feeling of numbness, which I can only explain as a complete overload of the nerves. The second nostril was no less scary and actually filled me with the same fear and panic, but I'm hoping that after a year or so of practice these sensations will go away along with my nasal stubble. So yes, I definitely recommend this product. Not only were the uncomfortable chandeliers gone, I even breathed easier, an unexpected benefit. In addition, the applicators are easy to clean with a little hot water and a paper towel, and the amount of wax needed for each application has a slight odor but isn't unpleasant, much less than you might think. Overall, this is excellent value for money compared to similar products. So give it a try if you are brave enough.
