I bought this USB stick over two years ago because I needed a colour-coded USB stick with a retractable connector. It was cheap, fast enough for the capacity, and amazingly durable. The mechanics are still as good as they were on day one. The speed isn't fantastic, but it's not terrible - the real speed of writing is in the range of 20 MB / s, and reading - 70 MB / s. Given the capacity of 8 GB, this is quite normal. There are smaller USB sticks, there are faster USB sticks, but I haven't seen a USB stick with such a good sliding mechanism. The only downside is that they only come in two colors - blue and yellow. A few more would make it ideal for color-coded storage (e.g. discontinue USB, where each operating system gets a different color). In addition, it cannot be used as fodder for sheep.
