I made a caddy for transporting power tools in and out of the garage. Things like my chop saw, table saw, jig horns, and other bulky and heavy items. I first build the platform using two opposing 30" x 36" pieces of plywood, then surround it with a 1x4 board at each corner to keep the tool stands from sliding off the platform. When I first built this I bought some less expensive rollers from a local home center, they were completely ineffective. I was well under the weight limits for the first ones I buy. I found them really over the top but at the same time I liked the style and the leg stop mechanism. Absolutely the right product to buy and well worth the price. Earlier when I was rolling the platform the wheels would cross and do all sorts of weird things. I still have black marks on my garage floor that I have to get up from. It's amazing with them, when you release the brake to move, they move, no problem, even over extensions and other objects as if they don't exist. The only downside is my neighbor is always waiting for him to move into his garage. Most of us don't buy these things every day, I certainly don't. But I have to tell you that I'm very impressed, as is my engineer neighbor. He looked at the products and said damn good, I agree.
